WAEC results are out. No, not that one — ours. Your Piggyvest W.A.E.C. report for H1 2026 is live on the app right now, and since January we’ve been tallying every save, every withdrawal, every week your account went quiet. It all adds up to one grade with your name on it.

So, what does that grade actually tell you about your saving habits?

The short answer? More than you’d expect. But whichever grade you get, it’s a half-time score for 2026, not a final result. So let’s go through each grade honestly, find the move that flips yours before December and meet the brand-new feature everyone will be sharing.

How do we compute your Piggyvest W.A.E.C. grade?

Our W.A.E.C. (short for “Wealth Accrued & Expanded Consistently”) has been our way of grading your money moves since 2019. It carries the same energy as the school version, except the subject is your actual, real-life finances, and there’s no expo to save you.

This 2026 H1 W.A.E.C. covers the first half of 2026, and because we turned ten this year, we’ve made it a special “10th Anniversary Edition” and added a new way to meet your money moves — your money personality!

But as always, the grading itself is simple. We track how often and how much you saved, how much you withdrew, what you invested, and how many of our features you actually used, then distil it all into a single grade.

The scale still runs from A1 to C6 — no D7, no E8 and, mercifully, no F9. After all, ours is the one WAEC everybody can pass.

What does your Piggyvest W.A.E.C. grade say about you?

Like the school version, a higher grade means a stronger performance and smarter money moves. And unlike the school version, the syllabus and exam are just your financial habits.

So, here’s what your current W.A.E.C. grade means, and how you can raise it before December:

A1

A1
A1

You were locked in. You saved through January’s long stretch, at least one wedding weekend, and every “urgent 2k” request. Consistency like that doesn’t happen by accident, and we salute you!

Your H2 move is simple: defend the title. We already know AutoSave is your bestie, so stretch yourself instead. Try a feature you’ve never touched, like growing your dollar savings in Flex Dollar or taking on a new opportunity on Investify.

You showed up for your money most months, and it showed up for you. A quiet week here, an unplanned withdrawal there — that’s all that stands between you and an A1.

Your H2 move is to remove yourself from the equation. Set an AutoSave schedule you can forget about, and let it run quietly until December.

B3

You were present, in bursts. You saved when money entered, went silent when it didn’t, and your report reads like hot-and-cold texting.

Your H2 move is to give your savings one anchor. You can do this by creating a simple Target Savings plan for a real December goal (like a trip, a new phone, or Detty December) and feeding it every week.

C4

Money came in, money went out (mostly out). Your account worked more like a corridor than a vault this half.

Your H2 move is to immediately separate spending money from savings. Keep everyday cash in Flex Naira or PocketApp, and move anything you shouldn’t touch into SafeLock, where it can’t be a part of your day-to-day expenses.

H1 happened to you. Between rent, black tax and everything else, saving kept moving to “next month.” No shame in that, but you need to lock in.

Your H2 move is to start smaller than feels serious. An amount you won’t notice, automated weekly, beats a big plan you’ll abandon by August.

Your account spent H1 on read. Little went in, little grew — and we want you to see this report as a nudge, not a scolding. You’re still here, so that means H2 can still be yours.

Your H2 move is to first make one save this week, any amount, then tell the Piggyvest app to repeat it. Six months of small, boring deposits will read very differently on your next report (and for your overall financial health).

What’s your money personality?

Also, for the first time since W.A.E.C. began, your grade now comes with company: a money personality, based on the wallet you used most in H1. We’ve spent ten years watching every kind of Nigerian saver, and this year we finally turned it all into personalities.

We won’t spoil all six, but here’s a taste: if SafeLock had most of your attention, you’re The Disciplined One — you lock in, and you don’t look back. If you lived in Flex Naira, meet The Free Spirit, proof that flexibility and good sense can share one wallet.

The other four are waiting inside your report.

If the whole idea sounds familiar, it’s because back in February 2025, we imagined which wallet you’d date. Think of this as the upgrade: no more hypotheticals, just what your money did in H1.

So when your money personality shows up, post it and ask your friends what they got. Every group chat has at least one Free Spirit, and this is how you catch them.

How to flip your Piggyvest W.A.E.C. grade before December

Every grade in the Piggyvest H1 W.A.E.C. came with its own move, but we measure the same few behaviours for everyone.

If you only remember four things from this post, make it these:

  1. Save more often than you withdraw. Frequency is the quiet hero of every A1. Automate it, daily or weekly, and let the app out-discipline you.
  2. Give every naira a destination. Money with a designation survives; money floating around gets spent. Point yours at a Target Savings, lock it away in SafeLock or park next year’s rent in HouseMoney™.
  3. Use more of what we’ve built. We don’t grade volume alone — range counts too. If you’ve only ever used one wallet, H2 is a good time to try a second (or a third and fourth).
  4. Link your PocketApp account. This year, we also track money you moved between Piggyvest and PocketApp in both directions, so linking the two now shows up in your results.

The secret sauce to an A1 is consistency and repetition. Do them quietly from now until December, and when we release the full-year results, “flip” will be the polite word for what you did.

Your H2 starts now

Your H1 result is waiting on the app — and yes, we’ll ask you to predict your grade before we show you anything, so choose wisely. Check it, share your money personality and treat whatever grade you see as feedback, not a verdict. There are six whole months left in 2026, and that’s enough time to change everything.

Don’t have a Piggyvest account yet? Download the app and start today. We’re rooting for an A1 with your name on it. 💙
