It’s the end of April. Many of you have saved, many of you will start saving. Remember: It’s never too late to begin.
We are shining the spotlight on another one of our savers today. Meet Jay.
What do you do?
I work with one of the Nigerian banks.
When did you start saving on Piggybank?
I started saving in Piggybank in November 2016.
What are you saving towards?
I think it’s just best to set aside and pile up funds for say Exams, and more importantly the unexpected rainy day.
What do you spend most of your money on?
I spend so much on Airtime, Data, Transport and regular visits home.
What would you like to stop spending money on?
Airtime, lol, it don’t seem to last.
How exactly has Piggybank helped you?
Before Piggybank, I deducted all my investments and savings as soon as I got paid, and spent what was left for the rest of the month. This usually left me with more liquidity than I’d loved at the end of the month. Piggybank has been helping me manage that little bit of extra liquidity and really these daily debits are a godsend. It prevents financial recklessness and encourages prudence.
There it is guys. You too can begin to save towards that rainy day.
Remember you can start with as low as N100/daily. Go to piggybank.ng now to get started.
Have a great weekend!
